EOTD with MAC Cut To Fit

I purchased this eyeshadow a few weeks ago from MAC's Pret-a-Prepier collection because I was sure that I didn't have anything like it. It is described as a "frosted red bronze" and upon first glance looks like Antiqued but I think it has a bit more orange in it.

Here is an eye look I came up with - click pics to enlarge




I used Rubenesque paint pot, Cut to Fit e/s on the lid, and (I think) Mulch in the outer corner and crease, and a generic soft frown to blend out the crease color.

I really like this color, especially paired with Rubenesque paint pot. I've always been afraid of orangey-rust colors for eyeshadows but I think it compliments my skin tone.

Wet N Wild palette

I was drugstore shopping a few weeks ago and came across this Wet N Wild palette.




Wet n Wild Limited Edition Color Icon Soiree Eyeshadow Quads (retail: $4.99 each) – I picked up Sumptuous.






The gold shade is a cream, glitter shadow and the other shades all offer some sort of shimmer/glitter, but nothing overwhelming. First of all, you NEED a PRIMER AND BASE when dealing with these shadows. I used ELF Mineral Eyeshadow primer. I utilized all of the colors in this palette in the look. It turned out ok – the colors are soft, and as you can see, there is some fallout on my face. The colors are pigmented upon application but when you start to blend the color fades. I would recommend a colored base when using this palette.



For me, this palette is not a complete miss, because it is workable. But the problem is – you gotta really WORK. lol. Would you ladies purchase this palette?

Hi Beauties!

Here is another quick EOTD - I was just messing around with my 120 palette. If any of you don't know about this palette or would like to see it, let me know.

I think it is great for beginners or those on a budget. Some of the colors are a bit "iffy", but overall I really love this palette...very good pigmentation and variety for a low price.

EOTD - Sushi Flower

I have had MAC Sushi Flower for the longest time and could not figure out how to make it work for me. I even attempted to do a FOTD using this color and it was a DISASTER! I looked sick!

Quick EOTD - Green pigment

Hey Makeup Lovers,


This is a simple EOTD from a few days ago. I wore this to run around and do some errands. The only reason I put on any makeup was to test out a new e/s primer that I picked up a few days earlier. I don't have a good pic of the rest of my face...SORRY! Trust me - it wasn't that special.

EOTD

Hi guys!! I am back and feeling much better. I am not exactly sure what I had, but I'm definitely glad that its over.

Well, this post is going to be short and sweet...I know I'm a little weird but often when I'm at home playing around with makeup looks I'll do different looks on each eye to see which one I like best. Sooo...which one do you like best?











The eye on your left is a pink & purple look, while the eye on your right is a yellow, orange and brown look. In the second pic you can really see the pink hue on my lid. On the last pic I added a little glitter over the yellow shadow.
