Russian Red Night

Here is a look from last night. I attended a friend's birthday party/fashion show. I went for "eyes poppin', lips bustin'" a la Nee Nee Leakes in season 1!

As an aside, my skin is pretty much pimple free, but I have several dark marks where the bumps were. Any suggestions on fade cream?

Magically Cool??

I'm going to keep the typing to a minimun bc my wrist has been killing me lately -- it feels like a sprain and hurts everytime I try to move it. Bear with me...
This look is from a few weeks ago. I was taking a break from my study schedule to have brunch with a friend. Since my life revolves around work and school and I have no life lately, I was super excited to get all cute.

I picked up the MAC Magically Cool Liquid Powder from my local COO and couldn't wait to try it. This was limited edition from the Disney Collection and I was bummed that I missed out on it. I applied it as a bronzer and ummm...can you see it? I dont think I can.

When swatched on my wrist, it is a beautiful bronze shade, but when I applied it to my cheeks it left a little to be desired. Maybe it'll work as a highlighter. Let me know if you want me to swatch it.

MAC's Vintage Selection paint pot was a limited edition product and I am SO glad I picked it up. I can wear it alone for a light shimmer, pack it on for more drama, or add a shimmer eyeshadow overtop and BABY, its a wrap!!

Do any of you have Vintage Selection or Mauvement pigment? Do you usually prefer a shimmery eye, or more of a matte look?

Birds & Berries

Here is a quick FOTD from a few weeks ago. I used MAC All that Glitters on the lid and MAC Birds & Berries on the outer corner, crease, and under eye area with a random brown to blend.

Love this color...I can't believe I forgot about it.

Modified Pinup Look

I've been dying to wear my MAC Morange lipstick and a night out with the girls was the perfect occasion. I decided to do a pin-up look with a heavy liner, neutral eye and bold lip. I replaced the traditional red lip with an orange lip. I think this color is HOT!

New Years Eve Look

Here is my New Years Eve look. I actually have on lashes, but opted for a more "natural" ones because I was attending church before my NYE festivities.

MAC CCO Find - Blue Flame

I was too excited to find MAC Blue Flame eyeshadow at my local CCO. I had been hard pressed for this since it came out with the Style Black Collection in Fall 2009.

Its a mineralized blue color that is super versatile (in my opinion). I had no problems with blending our fallout. This gets two thumbs up from me. You ladies are going to have to pay me to STOP wearing this shadow :-)

When I purchased MAC's "Go For It" lipstick, I knew it was a pretty color but was unsure of how to wear it. Recently I've discovered a combo that I love!
