Dramatic Eyes - Mystic Cool Palette

Here we go again, Makeup Lovers!

So guys, my car is still snowed in because Mr. Mocha has yet to shovel it out of the parking space therefore I am still stuck in the house *AAAAND BREATHE*. Sorry, I had to vent a little.

Since I have plenty of time on my hands and since I am trying my best not to buy any new makeup right now, (and since my car is under 12904738957 pounds of snow) I've been shopping my stash. The goal is to start using the products that have been forgotten/neglected. One such product is the MAC Mystic Cool eyeshadow palette from the Holiday 2009 collection. The other "oldie-but-goodie" is my Rimmel blush in Plum.

Another makeup goal is to practice certain techniques like, "cutting the crease". Here is my attempt (there was also a hair experiment going on today so beware):

FACE:
L'Oreal True Stay Concealer
Milani Pressed Powder in Honey Amber lightly buffed onto skin
MAC Refined Deeper Bronze
ELF Sun Kissed Bronzing Powder for highlight
Rimmel Blush in 032 Plum

EYES:
ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Primer
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
MAC Cool Incantation on lid and slightly above
MAC Deep Secret to cut crease
MAC Blue Enchantment to blend
concealer for highlight

LIPS:
MAC Chestnut lipliner
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Cherry Blossom 487

Sorry about the duplicate pics...for some reason I can't delete the second one. What do you guys think of my crease work? It's definitely not perfect, but it's an improvement.

I just looked out the window and it is snowing...AGAIN. **SIGH** Time to find some movies to watch.

Wishing for sun,

Rashida

  3. I really loved the look and the textured hair looks good on ya. The cut crease came out well. I still struggle with this technique
