Dressmaker, Dressmaker

A good friend hosted a housewarming over the weekend and this is the look I went for. I wanted to keep things peachy and neutral so opted for no eyeshadow, heavy liner, and light lips. AS you can see my skin is not being nice to me at the moment UGH!

Does anyone else have MAC's lipstick in Dressmaker, Dressmaker? I think its a nice shade when you don't want anything over the top.

Baby Shower Look

Here is a look I wore to a baby shower. I was going for DRAMA with the eyes...please excuse the open closet door and hair rollers.

On another note, I ordered this Rock & Republic lipgloss from a recent HauteLook sale and I am very pleased so far. I'll have to use it some more though. Does anyone have any R&R cosmetics?

Lilac Lips and New MAC Skinsheen Bronzer Stick

Okay, Okay...wait, wait, wait,...I tried to crop out my cardigan in the pics since my leopard headscarf is visible. So I only have on the leopard print headscarf to hold down my "edges" while I drive to the train station in the morning. I know it doesn't match but I often walk to my car/ greet and talk to my neighbors in the parking lot in get-ups similar to this. Don't cut me!

Anywho - this face is pretty simple as I was clearly in a rush lol. Neutral eyes with lilac lips using Revlon lipstick in 001 Lilac with a touch of MAC Wrong Spell lipglass. Lancome's Hypnose Drama mascara has been holding down my lashes lately and I am loving it. On my cheeks I'm wearing the new Limited Edition Skinsheen Bronzer Stick by MAC in Guilty Bronze. LOVE THIS BRONZER!

Wet N Wild FOTD

I've been hearing good things about the Wet N Wild Color Icon palettes so I decided to try it out, and at only $4.99 you can't lose.

I must say that I am impressed by these palettes, unlike the previous WNW palette that I purchased! The colors are highly pigmented and blend easily. Yes, the packaging is flimsy and there is no mirror, but for 5 bucks I have no real complaints.

Here is a look I created using the Vanity palette. I usually do not do a white highlight color (I almost always use concealer as my highlight color), but I wanted to use every color in the palette. I know its a little sloppy, but it was done in a rush so I could show you guys right away!!

Also the last pic was taken before the face was done...always do eyes first when using colors with alot of fallout. That way you can clean up your face without interrupting the makeup.

Hi Beauties!

While I was bumming around the house the other day I decided to play in some makeup. Here is a quick, neutral face of the day using only 2 eyeshadows. Also, I picked up a Milani pressed powder - so far so good though I think it may be a tad too dark. I'll review this powder after I use it a few more times.

On to the pics:

Makeover

Hi Beauties,

I'd plan to come home from work and get right into makeup to create a new look, but things have rarely been working out the way I plan lately. The look below is my cousin (who has beautiful skin and perfect lips) and was done in November - the last time I went home to visit. She prefers darker makeup but we decided to give her something very light and natural just for fun to see how she'd like it. In hindsight I would have used a darker blush.

What do you guys think?

Till next time,
